Our Adoption Profile
Mia & Luke
Dear Expectant Mother,
We don’t know what has brought you to consider an adoption plan for your child, but we are thankful that you would consider us to be part of that plan. Whether or not you choose us to be part of your child’s story, we are humbled by the love you have for your child.
As a couple, we’ve wanted to be parents for a long time and are ready for the lifelong responsibility of providing unconditional love and support. We believe in inclusivity, compassion, and being yourself, and will parent with these values.
We hope our profile gives you a clear visual of our life and how a child would be loved, cherished, supported, and included in every part of our life and family.
We promise that your child will know their story of adoption and how much love you have for them.
Thank you for considering us to parent your precious child!

About Us
We met in summer 2019 when we separately moved to Spokane into the same apartment building. Mia was outside reading with her dog Rue when Luke moved in. Rue wanted to say hi to Luke that first day, and we started talking. We quickly discovered we enjoyed spending time together, started dating shortly afterwards, and have been together ever since. At our wedding, we thanked Rue for bringing us together and helping create our happily ever after.
Rue has since died from old age, and we live with our dog Jax. He is an affectionate, playful, and strongly bonded companion. Jax gets along well with children and is ready to be a little one’s best friend and protector as they grow up.
We live in a single-family home near a university in Spokane. We have a fenced-in yard and grow flowers, fruit, and vegetables. Our neighborhood has a mix of families with children, older adults, and some college students.
We are grateful to live near many beautiful parks and enjoy hiking, biking, and spending peaceful moments reading while enjoying nature. At home, we love playing board games and making puzzles together. We surround ourselves with loving, supportive people and prefer to keep a small, tight-knit group of friends rather than many friends.
We discussed adoption very early in our relationship, and it has been our plan for years. We’re so excited to parent together and will love any child in our care. We began thinking about adoption because Mia was very sick as a child and teen and is unable to have children biologically. Our experience with complex medical needs will help us as parents. No matter what medical needs arise for your child throughout their life, we will always advocate for them and ensure they get the best care.
Thank you for reading our profile. We’re wishing you peace and clarity as you make your decision and journey forward.
