Our Adoption Profile
Julia & Ajish
Dear Expectant Mother,
We know this is an incredibly difficult decision you’re navigating. Without meeting you, we already know that you are strong, brave, and courageous, even though it may not feel like it right now. We want you to know that are so loved and so is your child. We have never been in your shoes, but we hope you feel wrapped in the arms of Jesus, confident in whatever decision you make. We can’t wait to meet you and learn more about what makes you you! We want your baby to feel unconditionally loved and known. We want you to feel the same.
We’ve desired to adopt since we were dating, and have crafted our lives in such a way that would make that dream a reality. As we’ve dealt with infertility, it’s become even more clear to us that God wants us to love whatever child is in our home. As we’ve foster parented eight children over the past year, we’ve felt our capacity for love only grow bigger with each goodbye. We’ve just been grateful to be a part of each child and biological family’s story.
Our niece on Julia’s side was adopted and it has been a beautiful story to witness and take part in. We think it is incredible how such a difficult, selfless choice can lead to so many beautiful bonds. We want every child to have a place to call home, and we feel privileged that we are able to provide that in our stage of life right now. We hope you enjoy reading through our profile and we would love to answer any questions you might have!

About Us
Hello,
We are Ajish and Julia,
We’ve been married for five years, and it has absolutely flown by. It simultaneously feels like we just got married and have been married forever! Having fun and just enjoying each other’s company has kept our marriage strong.
Ajish works from home and Julia works part-time, so we see each other all the time. That means that we need to be intentional about actually spending time together and making sure each other feels seen, heard, and loved. We check-in with each other every day to see how the other is feeling and what each other needs and that really diminishes the amount of conflict we have. In both our marriage and parenting, we prefer to be proactive rather than reactive, and that requires effort! We have 20 nieces and nephews between the ages of 2-21 (18 on Julia’s side!) and have loved being a part of each kid’s’ story. One of our nieces was adopted and has an open adoption.
We enjoy cooking and eating together, snuggling on the couch, camping in the summer with friends, talking through shows, documentaries, going to Seattle Mariners and Seattle Sounders games, working on home renovation projects such as painting or building shelves, spending time outside in God’s creation, and hosting other people at our house whether that be friends, support group, or church small group. We love any opportunity to just spend time together – whether that’s going on a walk around a nearby lake or playing a board game at home.
We value our faith, time together and knowing each other, pouring into our communities, and growing our family. Everything we do is in the light of what Jesus has already done for us. We are so shaped by His love for us that we can’t help but be in awe of Him and want to serve Him. We’ve learned through being a foster family, that every moment is sacred and to be cherished. Sure, the big things like family vacation in a different state or country are great, but we value the everyday rhythms of things such as bedtime stories all the more. We value consistency and being there for each other, especially when one of us needs a little extra help. We value the 3 PM silly dance party and the 7 PM bubble bath. We value every “I love you” and every “I miss you.”
