Our Adoption Profile
Jessica & Scott
Dear Expectant Mother,
(From Jessica) Perhaps, like me, you never thought that you’d be in a circumstance such as this situation; and (in my constant emphasis to find the silver lining among the chaos of life) just maybe we can see this as already having something in common.
I wasn’t able to carry our child to a healthy term, so I’m not going to even attempt to know what you’re going through or sugar-coat with overinflated flattery. I laid my beloved mama’s ashes to rest earlier this year and am comforted knowing she has joined her sweet grandbaby above.
I had the privilege of caring for my mother, Melonie, for the last decade-she always said I was such a blessing to her; but truly, advocating for her and observing how she never let her health challenges limit her zest for life. She was not only inspiring but also left me the greatest sense of confidence in my own nurturing capabilities and peace in knowing what unconditional love is.
Thank you, from the depths of our hearts, for being open to consider my husband, Scott, and I, to receive the best gift of all be being able to become parents.
About Us
We met in 2017 while playing trivia at a local pizzeria and brewery. We were friends first, and then dated about a year later, getting engaged in 2019. We had plans to host a big wedding in 2020, but they were redirected as the Pandemic was just starting and we decided to elope.
Together we enjoy traveling. We have plans to continue to keep the adventures going with getting an RV and hitting the road. Both of our jobs allow for flexibility and remote options, and we feel excited at the thought of more traveling. There’s a scratch-off poster hung up in our home office that lists all of the National Parks. We can’t wait to share many more adventures together as we grow our family!
We’ve always been animal lovers, both grew up loving pets and always had them around – although too many to name here! We have three dogs: Bart, a pomsky, Sarg, a husky, and Tink, a teacup Pomeranian
