Our Adoption Profile
Holly & Buck
Dear Expectant Mother,
Holly and Buck

About Us
Thank you for reading our profile, and thank you for considering our family as a prospective home for your precious one. We know that this is a very difficult and tender decision. Your courage to pursue adoption for your baby humbles us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Our family began in 2005 when Buck and Holly were married. Buck was raised in Montana, and Holly moved from California at the time of their wedding. In 2010, Asher was born to them and their adventure as a family threesome began. During Holly’s pregnancy, she had symptoms that put her and her baby at high risk. They discovered that she has a condition that, while not very troublesome in normal day to day life, becomes very problematic when she is pregnant. All this to say, her doctors advised us that having more biological children could be very risky, and that we should consider adoption if we wanted more children.
We live on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of a mid-sized town in Western Montana. Buck’s office is located about 2 minutes from home and he often is home for lunch. We enjoy family style outdoor activities like biking, camping, hiking, swimming at the lake, sledding, growing vegetables, and just hanging out in our big backyard under the maple tree. Buck and Asher are hunters, and Holly is an artist, selling her artwork online and at occasional art shows.
Buck owns and operates his own business, and Holly is a stay-at-home mom. They currently home-school Asher and plan on continuing this as long as Asher enjoys it. We did not choose self-employment and homeschooling because they are easy; they are choices that have given us the freedom to live a spontaneous and more adventurous lifestyle.
We love animals, and have always had pets. We currently have a sweet and spicy one-year-old Cairn Terrier (Hazel) and a playful, cuddly three-year-old kitty (Lucy.)
Community is very important to us, and we value long lasting friendships with our family and neighbors. Asher is active in the local home-schooling network, and we are all very active members in a thriving parish of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Not being able to have more children has been a grief for all of us. Buck and Holly love being parents, and Asher has dreamed about having a younger sibling as long as he can remember. Again, we thank you for reading our profile, and we want you to know that we respect you. If you decide on us as the right family for your baby, we will care for her or him with as much love as affection as we would a biological child. When speaking about you as your baby grows up, we will refer to you as an example of courage and love worthy of imitating. We are also committed to engaging in a healthy open adoption within your comfort level of openness. In addition to committing to raise your child, we are also committed to you in our prayers for the rest of our lives, and we will teach your baby to pray for you daily.
