Dear Expectant Mother,

If you’re reading our letter, we know you’re facing decisions that require incredible courage and love. We can’t pretend to understand everything you’re experiencing, but we want you to know that we are praying for you, thinking of you, and grateful that you’ve taken the time to learn a little about us.

Our names are Eli and Teresa, and we’ve been married for nine wonderful years. From the beginning of our marriage, we dreamed of becoming parents. Life has taken us on a different path than we expected, one that has included heartbreak, waiting, and many prayers. Through it all, our hope of welcoming a child into our family has never faded.

Our greatest desire isn’t simply to become parents. It’s to become the kind of parents who help a child feel safe, cherished, encouraged, and unconditionally loved every single day.

Faith is an important part of our lives. It teaches us to love generously, serve others, and see every child as a precious gift. We hope to raise our future child knowing they are deeply loved by God, by us, and by the many family members and friends who are eagerly waiting to welcome them.

We also want you to know this: your place in your child’s story matters.

Should you choose us, we will always speak of you with love, respect, and gratitude. Your child will know that they were loved from the very beginning and that your decision came from a place of tremendous courage. We want them to grow up proud of their story and understanding how many people loved them before they ever arrived in our home.

If you choose us, we promise to spend the rest of our lives thanking God for the privilege of loving your child.

With great gratitude,

  Eli & Teresa

About Us

Hi! We’re Teresa and Eli.

We’ve been married for nine fantastic years after meeting in college through a shared love of video games. We’ve built a relationship on faith, laughter, and supporting one another through every season of life. Our shared interests have us constantly out and about, whether we’re volunteering, training for marathons, learning new dance techniques, hiking with friends, or just enjoying a cup of coffee together, we cherish time spent together.

Becoming parents has been the greatest hope we’ve shared throughout our marriage, and our journey has only strengthened our appreciation for the incredible gift of a child.

Our home is filled with laughter, music, family dinners, game nights, gardening projects, and two lovable dogs who keep life entertaining. We enjoy spending time in nature, working in our garden, making time for friends and family, serving at our church, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. We also have many extended family who are excited to be grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who are so excited to spend holidays and celebrate special moments together.

If we’re blessed to become parents, our greatest hope is to raise a child who knows they are loved beyond measure, encouraged to pursue their dreams, and always surrounded by kindness, patience, and unwavering support.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We are praying for you and wishing you peace as you make the decision that is best for you and your baby.

Meet Eli (written by Teresa)

Eli is one of the kindest and most patient people you’ll ever meet. He has a calm, steady personality that makes people feel comfortable and cared for.

He works in the technology field and genuinely enjoys solving problems, but when he’s home, he’s happiest spending time with family and friends. Whether he’s teaching someone a new game, helping with a project, or making everyone laugh with one of his dry jokes, he brings warmth wherever he goes.

One of the things I admire most about Eli is his servant’s heart. He’s the first person to volunteer when someone needs help and never hesitates to put others before himself.

I already know he’ll be an incredible father. He is patient, playful, dependable, and the kind of man who will gladly read one more bedtime story, answer endless “why?” questions, build pillow forts, cheer louder than anyone from the sidelines and encourage them for the big and small achievements in life.

A child in our family will always know they have a dad who believes in them, loves them unconditionally, and will always be there for them.

Meet Teresa

I’m someone who finds joy in creating a peaceful and welcoming home. I love quilting/sewing, gardening, playing the piano, making jewelry, and spending time with the people I love. I adore music, at the moment I’m dedicating time to picking up the fiddle! I also serve as an organist and treasurer at our church, where I’ve found a wonderful community that feels like family.

I’ve always looked forward to becoming a mom. I imagine reading bedtime stories, baking cookies together, helping with homework, celebrating little victories, and being the most supportive mom possible.

Friends and family often describe me as caring, dependable, organized, and thoughtful. I am frequently the family planer for celebrations, and I always do my best to make sure everyone feels included and cared for.

More than anything, I want our future child to grow up knowing they are treasured. My hope is to create a home filled with love, laughter, faith, curiosity, and countless hugs and happy memories.
